"I get the joy of rediscovering you ( Journey )"
In the mid 80's, JOURNEY performed in Honolulu for several sold out consecutive nights on at least 2 occassions. Excellent showmanship, fan friendly, not a hint of arrogance from all the band members. Great songs, great memories, great times. Thankfully, the band sans Steve Perry has not decided to just collect royalties and fade into the sunset. We all appreciate that the band is still here but not everyone was happy with their EVOLUTION. Let's keep an open mind to this latest edition. I respect those fans who chooses not to grow with the band because to them JOURNEY was Steve P. But I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THEIR NEW MATERIALS. Wouldn't you guys???

It was though Steve Perry that we all got to know the guys and most of us were introduced to Journey because of Steve, but I do agree with you. I wish more people would give the guys a break. It's like when you were a kid, It's never going to be that way again, the memories are great, you like that lovin' feelin' you get when remember, but life goes on. These guys are all individually the best in their fields. Each of them has their own amazing talents that can't be compared. I mean, come on, where else are you going to find someone like Neil Schon, who was obviously born to play, and who can keep up with those lightning fast fingers of his. Each is the best in what they do. The combination, made Journey what it is. Love them for who they are, not what we want them to be.
