I have been a musician for 40 years and enjoyed Journey's music through my youthful years. I purchased thier new "Revelation" CD after many observations on you tube of Journey's new lead vocal prospect and now front man.
Let's face it everyone.... Steve Perry is Steve Perry as well as Robert Plant is Robert Plant. But to call someone a wannabe that has obviousley caught the ear and eye of one of the best guitarists from one of the best bands in the world and its members is really an insult to them all.
Journey is one of those bands that even tho they are all phenomenal players they just are not the same w/o that voice. Arnel you are blessed....you have made it to a point in your career that all of us(musicians) wish or pray that we could even have the opportuinity to do. Keep up the good work... And if I was Steve Perry I would be flattered that you have spent many hours training your voice and working very diligently
to make my music still alive and well done.
Neal nice job.... And PS to you all pay close attention to the song mother father on the new DVD. Nice job Dean... Does he sound like Steve....or Arnel.... or what. Nobody has criticized his vocal ability. Why? Cause he is a awesome vocalist as well.
